Hi!
today we have corrected workbook, page 19. Then, we have commented on page 25 from the book, the story behind a photo, we have done the exercises and I have told you to write a similar composition describing a photo you like.
Afterwards, we have started unit 3. First, we have talked about airports, problems that you may have at the airport... and we have read the texts on pages 28-29, and done exercise b, filling the gaps with a question. We have explained some vocabulary and we have done section 4, vocabulary, expressions with look.
Homework for Wednesday: pages 26-27, the grammar and vocabulary questions and the reading. We will do pronunciation and listening in class.
For next week: the composition I have already mentioned.

Today we have listened to the story from page 22, and we have done the listening exercises on page 23. I have also explained the words but, because, although and so, and we have done the exercise on page 22 from the book, and the two exercises in the grammar bank, section 2D, page 129.
After that, we have watched the dvd to do the exercises on page 24, At the Conference Hotel, and then you have done a speaking activity related to a hotel in pairs.
Homework: workbook page 19 (except pronunciation). I have also handed a photocopy on questions with and without auxiliary. You can do it if you want.

Hello!
today we have corrected homework, page 57 exercise 2 from the grammar section and workbook page 34, exercises 1 and 3. I have handed a photocopy on conditionals. You have a summary of the theory and some exercises to do (exercises 1-9) for next Thursday. We have also done a speaking activity in groups to practice the conditional.
After that, we have done a listening, a speakers exercise, and we have commented on some vocabulary.
Finally we have watched two videos from The Simpsons related to politics, you can see them here to have fun (copy and paste the links)

Después hemos explicado las palabras but, because, so, although, y hemos hecho el ejercicio de la página 22 y los de la página 129, section 2D. También hemos hecho el vocabulary exercise de la página 23.

En la segunda hora hemos estado con Scott, que ha trabajado con una historia que leía mientras vosotros respondíais a unas preguntas.
