Then, we have seen the Functional language from lesson 7D (giving examples) and we have done exercises 1, 2, 3. As homework you have to do the exercise about prepositions from the same lesson.

today we have corrected the cloze text you have done for homework. Then, we have done the two listening exercises from the photocopy about millionaires I gave to you on Monday. After that, we have worked with the lesson 11B (p 108) from the book. we have done some speaking, revised the vocabulary about clothes, and the reading plus exercises 2 and 3.
Finally, we have done a speaking activity in pairs.

Avanzado1, Tuesday 24th
Hi!
Today we have corrected the homework (book p 71, exercises 1, 2, 3, workbook, pages 41-42). I have given to you some photocopies to revise the future on your own, I have also handed the key, so that you can correct your answers. Afterwards, we have worked with the book, page 72. First we have commented on the issues from exercise 1, predicting what we think will happen in 20 years time. Then we have listened to the recording to do exercises 2 and 3.
As homework, I have handed a text with exercises. We will correct it on Thursday.

Intermedio 1 G (19h) Monday 23rd
Hi!
today we have corrected homework (workbook page 54) and after that we have worked with some materials I have given to you, we have read three different texts about rich people in groups and we have done some exercises. Later on we have listened to a woman who was involved in a demonstration in 1968 to do two different listening exercises: a multiple choice exercise and a fill in the gaps. (It's all in the same photocopy as the texts). Finally we have done some speaking in pairs to revise present perfect and simple past. As homework, I have given to you a cloze text to fill in the gaps, similar to the exam.
Remember Deborah is coming on Wednesday at eight o'clock.

we have corrected our homework today, that cloze text about bicycles... and then we have read the text from page 70 in pairs, to do exercises 1, 2, 3 and 4. Besides, we have revised future perfect and future continuous (p 71) and as homework you have to do exercises 1, 2, 3 from this page and pages 41, 42 from workbook.

Hi!
Today we have begun new unit, it's unit 11, about personal possessions. We have spoken about your essential personal possessions, we have done the listening on page 106, plus exercises 1, 2 and 3. After that, I have explained the grammar from page 107, infinitive of purpose and we have done exercises 1, 2.
Finally, we have talked about the strategies you can use when you are talking (especially in the speaking exam) if you can't remember a word. For example, giving a similar word, trying to define the word, explaining what we use this thing for, giving an example or situation in which we can use this thing... We have practiced this with the functional language, exercise 1, page 107, and with the exercise 11A on page 126 to speak in pairs and try to explain these words. After explaining these objects I have given you their names:

caja para CD- CD case
candelabro- candelabra
auriculares- headphones/ earphones (los del dibujo, los que van metidos en la oreja)
funda para el móvil- mobile bag/ cover

Atención, chic@s de Avanzado 1 Y (16h)
Holaaa
Como en el grupo de avanzado de las cuatro de la tarde somos poquitos y hemos acabado los orales, estuvimos hablando sobre dar clase el jueves o no. Algunos preferíais relajaros y otros venir, así que hemos decidido hacer "clase informal" ese jueves (12 de Febrero), es decir, que venga el que quiera y hacemos algo de speaking (we can have a cup of coffee or whatever...)
